Venue

The 11th Congress of Czech Historians will take place in several different buildings in the center of Olomouc. The ultra-modern congress center NH Collection Olomouc Congress will host the morning plenary session on Wednesday, 13 September, and the evening ceremony with a baroque opera and reception will be also there. The NH Collection Olomouc Congress, which is also a hotel, is situated about twenty minutes away from the historical city center where the buildings of the Philosophical Faculty are located, which is where the congress panels will take place. The distance between the Faculty buildings is maximum 5-7 minutes. The Thursday lecture given by Charles Ingrao will be organized at Metropol Cinema (about 10 minutes away from the Faculty buildings on Krizkovskeho Street). The afternoon plenary session, with the farewell reception on Friday, 15 September, will take place at the Regional Center Olomouc, in close proximity to the main railway and bus stations.
